Moolasthanam and Parivara Balasthapanam prayers at Sri Mariamman Temple
Sri Mariamman Temple is a national monument that is administered by Hindu Endowments Board. In accordance with Hindu religious practice (agamas), Temples are required to re-energise and rejuvenate every 12 years. All restoration works to the temple is also done at this time. Upon the completion of the redevelopment works, the Maha Kumbabishegam takes place in a grand manner. Sri Mariamman Temple announced that the Maha Kumbabishegam (consecration ceremony) will take place on Sunday, 12 February 2023.
The moolasthanam and parivara balasthapanam prayers will be held on Monday, 7 November 2022 from 6:00am to 7:30am at Sri Mariamman Temple. The preceding prayers will be held from Friday, 4 November to Sunday, 6 November 2022. Devotees are invited to witness the various prayers from Friday, 4 November to Monday, 7 November 2022.

Please take note that there will be no services and archanais from Saturday, 5 November 2022 to Monday, 7 November 2022 (8am) due to the ongoing moolasthanam and parivara balasthapanam prayers.
