Details

Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Hindu temples and a National Monument, turns 164 years in 2018.

This grand temple, administered by the Hindu Endowments Board, is undergoing some much needed renovations and refurbishments to help preserve its maturing structure. In keeping with Hindu tradition, Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple is also due for re-sanctification of its divine powers by performing Maha Samprokshnam (Consecration) ceremonies.

The auspicious Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple is scheduled on Sunday, 22 April 2018 at 10:50am. The Temple has made special arrangements for devotees to take part in various ceremonies related to the Maha Samprokshanam. We welcome all devotees to participate and receive the abundant blessings of Lord Sri Srinivasa Perumal.

The planned redevelopment and Maha Samproksanam of Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple is estimated to cost $4 million. Restoration plans include creating more space for devotee worship and dining, improving ventilation and lighting throughout the temple,  improving facilities like bathrooms and walkways, restoring all the paintings, murals, religious motifs and reconditioning structures like the rajagopuram, pillars and vimanams.
