PHASE 2 (HEIGHTENED ALERT) MEASURES AT HINDU TEMPLES

On 20 November 2021, Multi-Ministry Taskforce (MTF) announced easing of some community safe management measures from Monday, 22 November 2021.

The following changes will be in effect at all HEB Temples, namely, Sri Mariamman, Sri Srinivasa Perumal, Sri Sivan and Sri Vairavimada Kaliamman Temples, till further notice:

1. FROM TUESDAY, 1 FEBRUARY 2022, VACCINATED ONLY ENTRY ON ALL DAYS OF THE WEEK, SUBJECT TO THE SAFE CAPACITY LIMITS OF THE TEMPLE.

2. Group size CANNOT EXCEED 5 persons. Safe distance of 1 metre MUST be observed between each group.

3. Devotees MUST LEAVE the temple promptly once they finish praying to allow others to enter the temple. DO NOT SIT OR STAND to view the prayers that will cause a delay in others entering the temple.

4. Though the new cap announced has increased between 500 to 1000, temples cannot accommodate these many devotees due to safe management measures. Thus, Temple numbers will be much lower.

5. Watch the livestream of special prayers and festivals at https://heb.org.sg/.

6. Entry is ONLY possible with TraceTogether App or Token.

7. We encourage all devotees to get vaccinated as soon as possible. Please visit the URL https://www.vaccine.gov.sg/ for more information and registration.
